TEAM TEACH- Positive Behaviour Management Level 2- The course delivers practical behaviour management strategies for challenging behaviours of young people with special needs, who may pose risk to themselves or others. It provides an understanding of the causes of challenging behaviours, along with respectful, supportive and practical strategies for de-escalation and crisis intervention.
I lived in different countries which helped me to understand different cultures, traditions and values. I value differences and welcome everyone from all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, races and religions.
During my master’s degree, I worked as a volunteer at IMECE women’s centre in London, United Kingdom. I attended weekly psycho- educational group therapy sessions with clinical psychologists which helped me to understand special needs of immigrant women who were exposed to domestic violence.
My specialisation is in behavioural change; helping my clients improve their overall well-being, overcome their mental health problems, and achieve a rational mindset. By using cognitive- behavioural therapy techniques, we can identify unhealthy thoughts which are the underlying causes of negative emotions as well as maladaptive behaviours. I offer individual psychotherapy as well as family therapy for children and young adults.
